Description

5 day a week in-person position. Ensures financial clearance and reimbursement for services provided to PH/PTE patients and other Cardiology patients as assigned. Reviews and validates summary reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. Serves as an advocate in all matters related to the financial aspects of the Cardiology patients with a focus on PH and PTE. Acts as a liaison for providers as well as patients with insurance carriers. Education Bachelor's Degree Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 2 years experience in health care billing Preferred General Experience with IDX and SMS Preferred General Experience with procedure and diagnosis coding.
