Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Cardiology Technologist to join the Medical Daycare team at Squamish Hospital in Squamish, BC. Apply today to join our team!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Cardiology Technology plus one (1) year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT) certification exam.
  • Eligible for membership with the Cardiology Technologist Association of British Columbia (CTABC).

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

  • Ability to keep abreast of current professional standards and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties accurately and maintain quality standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • General knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice and Harm Reduction approaches and Strengths-based care.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote Indigenous Cultural Safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide competent and culturally safe care in a variety of settings and with diverse populations.
  • Physical ability to perform duties of the position.
