Cardiology technicians work 7 am - 5:30 pm, 4-week days a week , and are on-call 1 weekend every month. Requirements: High school degree or equivalent 2+ years of experience as a veterinary technician RVT preferred but not required Excellent written and verbal communication The ability to lift up to 40lbs unassisted The ability to kneel, squat, and bend Emotionally intelligent Proficient with technology including electronic medical record systems, automated lab analyzers Responsibilities: Venipuncture: jugular, cephalic, saphenous IV Catheter placement Lab work Radiology Anesthesia induction and monitoring Endotracheal intubation Medical calculations Benefits: 80-hours of PTO!
