About the Role: The Cardiopulmonary Clinical Supervisor serves as the department’s Meditech Super User while providing operational and clinical leadership during evening hours. This position is responsible for supporting Meditech Expanse workflow optimization, GE MUSE system, staff education, system implementation, troubleshooting, and departmental process improvement. The supervisor serves as a liaison between cardiopulmonary services, nursing, and medical staff to ensure efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and quality patient care. The supervisor assists the Director with daily departmental operations, including staff development, scheduling support, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory readiness, and clinical oversight of respiratory therapy, electrocardiography, pulmonary diagnostics, and other cardiopulmonary services. This position serves as a resource for staff, promotes departmental efficiency, and supports organizational goals through leadership, collaboration, and continuous process improvement. Minimum Qualifications: * Certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care and a valid license to practice respiratory care through the state of Florida. * Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). * Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in cardiopulmonary care. * Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. * Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement processes. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field. * Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or (NRP). * Experience with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical data management. * RRT. * 5 years experience working in a hospital setting. Work Schedule: 1. This position is a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) leadership position within the Cardiopulmonary Department 2. Primarily scheduled evenings from 3:00 pm-11:00 pm Monday-Friday. 3. Schedule may be adjusted or modified at the discretion of the Cardiopulmonary Director based on departmental, operational, educational, project, or Meditech implementation needs 4. Weekend and holiday scheduling may be required when staffing constraints, operational demands, or departmental needs are identified. 5. Participates in on-call or special project assignments determined by departmental needs.
