Here is your chance to work with highly skilled and trained physicians who use state-of-the-art technology and innovative procedures for patients who are diagnosed with a disease of the chest, heart, lungs, esophagus or the major blood vessels and veins of the body. Position Details: Full Time, 40 hours per week Surgical Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic cases Outpatient Ambulatory Visits & Hospital Rounding Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions Assist with vein and radial harvesting; CABG and valve surgery Competitive Salary, comprehensive benefits package, CME, Malpractice and 401K Requirements Needed to Apply: Active Texas license Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program Surgical Experience plus 1 – 2 years Hospital & Ambulatory experience preferred Additionally, experience with robotic surgery a plus. Education Master's Degree Physician Assistant Req Experience 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref Licenses and Certifications PA - Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure.
