JOB OVERVIEW:

GluCare Integrated Diabetes Center is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular & Radiology Technician to support our diagnostic and imaging services. You will perform both cardiovascular and radiology procedures to ensure accurate results and high-quality patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Diploma in Radiology, Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent.
  • DHA license or eligibility as a Cardiovascular Technician in Dubai (or relevant authority).
  • Experience in both cardiovascular procedures and radiology imaging preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Experience working with patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and non-invasive testing protocols.
  • Ability to prepare reports and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures such as:


    • Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG)

    • Holter monitoring
    • Treadmill stress testing
    • Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM)
    • Ankle-brachial index (ABI)
    • Vascular ultrasounds (if trained)
    • Echocardiogram
    • Stress test
    • VO2 Max
    • Remote data/monitoring
    • Handle administrative tasks, including patient documentation, scheduling, and data entry related to imaging and cardiovascular procedures.
    • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
    • Follow safety protocols, infection control standards, and radiation protection guidelines.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
    • Assist in triaging patients for cardiac evaluations as part of the diabetes risk assessment.
