Cardiovascular Technologist at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 10-hour, Day shifts. Under general direction of the Department Manager and/or Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director of the Cath Lab, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff, the Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for the performance of advance cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Required Qualifications: * Coursework/Training - Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent educ/experience. * California Radiologic Technologist upon hire. * National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. * National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: * Coursework/Training - Additional training in angiocardiography or equivalent educ/experience. * Advanced registration from ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging upon hire. * 2 years - Experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital.
