Are you an experienced and dedicated Care Aide who enjoys learning new skills and working on a team? Do you want to enjoy a care team to client ratio of two to one, in a beautiful home? Do you have experience and/or an interest in developing your skills in spinal cord injury?

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Certified Care Aide or Internationally Trained Registered Nurse
• BC Registry Number w/ Registration Confirmation Letter noting Active and in Good Standing
• Compassionate, collaborative and dedicated - can work independently and in a team
• Interest and experience in Spinal Cord Injury, Vent & Trach Care, & Home Care is an asset

As a full-time night shift Care Aide, your responsibilities would include but not limited to the following:

• Proactively supporting the on-shift nurse/lead with repositioning, cough assist machine, break relief, emergency response and mechanical transfers
• Providing personal care such as skin care, emptying ileostomy and catheter bags, dressing, grooming, feeding, showering, etc.
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Restocking supplies
• Assisting the client with mobilizing in power wheelchair

Weekly ONGOING Schedule Available:

• Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday NIGHTS 20:00 - 08:00 (12 hour AWAKE shifts)
