CARE AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Location: National Travel Required (UK-wide)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + £5,000 Car Allowance + Mileage
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in auditing within a clinical care environment (e.g., elderly care, nursing services, residential care)
  • In-depth knowledge of care compliance frameworks and regulatory standards (CQC, NICE, etc.)
  • Strong clinical background (e.g. Nurse, Health & Social Care Management)
  • Ability to build positive, professional relationships with internal teams and external regulators
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As our Care and Compliance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality, safety, and compliance of our care services. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will conduct audits, support services with clinical governance, and ensure regulatory standards are consistently met and exceeded.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular audits across care services to ensure compliance with CQC and other regulatory bodies
  • Provide clinical oversight and advice on care delivery, safeguarding, and risk management
  • Collaborate with Registered Managers to develop and implement quality improvement plans
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on quality indicators and incidents
  • Deliver training and support on best practices in clinical care and compliance
  • Travel nationally to various sites, with flexibility required
