JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, maintaining care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for individuals in need of assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with residents and colleagues.
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and accessing care plans are advantageous.
  • A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting residents when required.
  • A compassionate attitude towards caring for others and the ability to work well within a team are essential traits for success in this role.

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Engage residents in social activities to enhance their quality of life and well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Drive residents to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring their comfort during transport.
