OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in their care.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with residents and team members.
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation related to care services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to senior staff.
  • Ensure that the care home or home environment is clean, safe, and welcoming.
  • Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
