Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide important support and assistance to individuals within the care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Support the development and implementation of residents individual care plans
• Maintain clear and open communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
• Monitor health conditions and report changes promptly
• Promote a positive environment by engaging residents in daily activities and conversations

Experience

• Previous experience working in a care home is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and documentation
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while demonstrating empathy and patience
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures relevant to care environments is desirable

Pay: £12.90 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
