We are looking for kind and caring care staff to join our team at Barclay House to help support our patients with short term recovery and long term nursing needs. Our main focus are those people with brain injuries and neurological conditions.
You will be supported by senior care staff, team leaders, nursing and clinical staff, its a lovely place to work as we have at least 3 staff to 1 patient ratio, some days we have more staff than patients!
We provide free meals and support flexible work patterns, being close to the city centre we are also easy to get to.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow instructions accurately is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
  • IT skills for maintaining patient records and documentation are an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to individualised goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities designed to aid recovery and improve quality of life.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
