Bradwell Hall Nursing Home are a modern style purpose built Family run Care Home registered for Nursing and Residential Care.
We are seeing to recruit Care Assistants/Support Workers with previous experience in this field to join our team as we have recently increased our occupancy.

The successful applicant will be contracted to weekly hours, full time day shifts available over a 7 day working rota.

  • Enhanced rates of pay for applicants who are NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Pay rates:

· Rate of pay 18 - 20 years: £11.37 per hour
· Enhancements: NVQ Level 2: Extra 7p per hour or NVQ Level 3: Flat rate of £13.07 per hour
· Rate of pay 21 years and over: £12.32 per hour
· Enhancements: NVQ Level 2: Extra 7p per hour or NVQ Level 3: Flat rate of £13.07 per hour

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of a carer is to give direct patient care to our Residents with Dementia as directed by a trained nurse and support the resident in his/her plan of care

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assist residents who have Dementia with all aspects of personal care e.g. washing, dressing, toileting etc
  • Assist residents with mobility - including hoisting
  • Assist residents with eating and drinking, communication and joining in social activities
  • Assist nurses with preparation of a resident for treatment
  • Complete all documentation as requested by the unit manager/nurse
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment within the nursing home
