Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour


Location: Ashton in Makerfield


Shifts Available: Nights 9.30pm to 7.30am

Job Description


What You’ll Do


This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Children's Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas.


Our client has a genetic condition, learning disability and developmental delays, they need support due to Cerebral Palsy and their genetic disorder with personal care, mobility and communication. They enjoy cuddles, watching musical disney movies and going out on day trips. Our client uses a Ventilator via a Tracheostomy, has a PEG feed and need support, medication management and their mental wellbeing as can exhibit challenging behaviours at times. They need a strong empathetic communicator who can speak to them to address concerns and provide reassurance.


Qualifications


Previous Complex care experience is required.


It will be beneficial to have worked with children with challenging behaviours or learning disabilities.


Previous Ventilator management, Tracheostomy and PEG management is preferred. Whilst training can be provided for the right candidates.
