Job Description About the role We’re looking for a kind, skilled, and attentive carer to support a gentleman with a cuffed tracheostomy who requires 24/7 ventilation, PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and medication administration via gastrostomy. Strong verbal and written English is essential, as he uses a communication tablet. Daily life is calm and home-focused, centred around TV, meaningful conversation, and visits from his wife and children. You’ll provide safe, person-centred care, offer companionship, and support both the client and his family emotionally. This role suits someone confident in managing complex health needs, respectful, patient, and happy to be part of a warm, home environment. Full training will be provided. Qualifications What you’ll need Whilst training is provided, experience supporting someone with complex care needs would be advantageous, particularly experience with tracheostomy and a ventilator.
