For this role, you must have experience in looking after clients with peg feed. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. The client is a young adult who has an acquired brain injury, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as: PEG feeds (PEJ) Daily suctioning. Intermittent Catheter Care Monitoring the client's condition for seizures.
