JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or their own homes, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are advantageous.
