NIGHT CARE ASSISTANT

Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire
Salary: £25,225.20 per annum (£12.60 per hour) and overtime paid at £14.10 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8pm - 8am shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Night Care Assistants to join the team at Ashton Manor, our state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents’ lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
  • Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
