OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in care homes and through home care services. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients. This position requires strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between client locations.
• Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software are beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in daily activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to senior staff.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Engage with clients through meaningful conversation and companionship to enhance their quality of life.
