OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care or childcare is preferred.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures is an advantage.
  • Ability to provide patient care with empathy and respect for client dignity.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A valid driver’s licence may be required depending on client needs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
  • Certification in relevant areas such as nursing or caregiving is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Provide specialised care for individuals requiring hospice care or those in assisted living environments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
