JOB SUMMARY

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or home care settings. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents or clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual care plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident or client.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the health or behaviour of residents or clients to senior staff.
  • Foster a warm and friendly environment that promotes the well-being and independence of those in your care.
  • Engage with residents or clients through meaningful conversation and activities to enhance their social interaction.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety within the living environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

  • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately, demonstrating attention to detail.
