We have immediate need across our territory which covers Frome, Midsomer Norton, Cheddar and Compton Bishop as well as everything in between! Job Description At Home Instead, we do things differently. We believe care should never be rushed, and relationships should be at the heart of everything we do. That’s why our visits are always at least one hour long, giving you the time to provide truly personal, quality care. Our Care Assistant's are carefully matched with clients and introduced in advance, ensuring familiarity, trust, and continuity. At one of our branches, one of our team members had supported the same client for over 10 years - something we’re incredibly proud of! Every day is different, but your role would include: Providing companionship and emotional support Preparing meals and helping with daily routines Assisting with medication and personal care Supporting clients living with conditions such as dementia or those recovering from a stroke Assisting with clinical needs, such as changing compression stockings or supporting with catheter care You’ll help people continue living safely and comfortably in the place they know best - their own home. As a Care Assistant with us, we can offer you: £12.85 per hour during the week and £13.50 per hour on a weekend Bank holidays paid at a double rate Mileage and travel time between clients paid to you Free Blue Light Card for national discounts Access to our Care Skills Academy – training, mentoring, funded qualifications and clear career progression Wellbeing Hub with resources on mental health, menopause, sleep, nutrition and more Regular, consistent clients and the time to deliver care you’re proud of Recognition and reward – because you care for our clients, and we care for you! What do we need from you?
