Job Description Care Professional – One‑Hour Visits | Time to Care | Local Support | £13.50 + Mileage Here at Home Instead, We believe care should never be rushed. That’s why every visit we deliver is a minimum of one hour, creating the time and space for genuine, person-centred relationships. Your visits may include: Companionship and meaningful conversation Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing) Light household tasks Medication prompts Meal preparation Attending appointments or shopping Who We’re Looking For You do not need care experience. You might be ideal if you are: Kind, patient and reliable Comfortable working independently Able to use good judgement in day‑to‑day situations Honest about your availability Motivated to make a real difference A driver with access to your own car Important Travel Information Our clients live across Castleford, Pontefract, Selby, and Goole and surrounding villages. We are upfront about travel so there are no surprises later. This role is not restricted to one neighbourhood, and some days involve driving between villages. We cluster calls where possible, but flexibility is important. If you prefer to work only in one tight area, this position won’t be the right fit.
