We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team of Care Professionals / Care Assistants. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship and home help to older people to allow them to live independently in their own homes. You do not need any home care experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant and we encourage people from different sectors to apply, whether that is: NHS, retail, hospitality, childcare, customer service, delivery driving. We provide FULL training from the start. Being a Care Assistant/ Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! You will be introduced to all new clients, and Care Professionals are matched to clients based on personality, background, hobbies and interests. With a minimum of 1 hour visits you have time to provide high quality, person focused care. Duties can include: Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework Accompanying to appointments or shopping Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent Qualifications Previous care experience is welcome, but not required. This could be from working in a care home, as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or in the NHS. It could also be from working as a volunteer, or personal experience of caring for a loved one.
