As a Care Professional you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help clients keep their independent within their own home. Job Description Join our compassionate team as a Care Assistant in Hexham, United Kingdom! We're seeking dedicated individuals to provide essential support and companionship to our clients in their homes. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in need. Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding when necessary Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' well-being Offer emotional support and companionship to clients Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans Document client progress and report any changes in condition Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when needed Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to health and safety regulations Qualifications Genuine passion for helping others with a friendly, empathetic demeanour Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle Basic first aid knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends Strong time management and organisational skills Additional Information We offer a competitive rate of pay of £13.30 per hour. Flexibility in work patterns. As well as day time, we work evenings and weekends. Due to the areas of working, a driving licence and car is required.
