Job Title: Care Assistant Company: Homecare Gurus Ltd Location: Weymouth Pay: £18.00 - £25.00 per hour Job Description: Homecare Gurus Ltd is seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide vital support to individuals in their homes or care facilities, helping them with daily activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication management. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ health to the care team. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure a clean, safe environment for clients. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. Empathy and a genuine desire to help others. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Mandatory training certifications in areas such as first aid, health and safety, and safeguarding.
