JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in both home care and care home settings. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to drive to various locations as needed. The Care Assistant will support clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a care assistant role or similar position is preferred but not essential.
• A valid driving licence is required for this position.
• Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication is advantageous.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial.
• Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is desirable.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
• Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
• Drive to clients’ homes or care facilities as required for service delivery.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care.
