Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team and provide essential care and support to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Duties

- Assist residents with personal care tasks

- Support residents with mobility and transportation needs

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

- Maintain accurate records of care provided

- Utilize IT systems for documentation and reporting

Requirements

- Experience in home care or a care home environment is desirable

- Ability to drive is advantageous

- Proficient in English, both verbal and written

- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues effectively

- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others

- Comfortable working in a team environment

- Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
