Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in their own home setting. The role involves supporting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Support residents with mobility and transfers
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting
Skills
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Experience in home care or a similar caring role is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues effectively
- Familiarity with care plans and procedures
- Basic IT skills for recording resident information
- Ability to drive is desirable for certain roles within the care setting
