CARER – THE MOUNTAINS CARE HOME

Location: Libanus, Brecon, Powys, LD3 8EN
Pay: £12.35 – £12.65 per hour (depending on qualifications)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week | 8:00am – 8:00pm or 8:00pm – 8:00am
Rota: Mixture of days & nights | Every other weekend | Issued around 2 months in advance

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Carer to join our team at The Mountains Care Home, where your kindness and professionalism will make a real difference to older adults living with dementia and other mental health conditions.
If you’re an experienced care worker or hold your Level 2 QCF/NVQ in Health & Social Care, we’d love to hear from you.

YOUR ROLE

As a Carer, you’ll provide hands-on support with daily routines while helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Providing personal care with empathy and respect
• Supporting residents with meals, mobility, and daily activities
• Following personalised care plans
• Offering companionship and emotional reassurance
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes
• Working flexibly across day and night shifts as scheduled
