NIGHT CARE ASSISTANT TO SUPPORT A BABY GIRL WITH COMPLEX NEEDS IN PAIGNTON. NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 22:00 – 06:00

Ocean Healthcare is looking for an experienced Care Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a baby girl living with complex health needs. She has an NJ Tube and an Orogastric tube for feeding, requires airway management and deep suctioning.
Your role will be to keep her safe and well overnight, monitoring her needs, providing feeds and medications and managing her airway when required. She lives at home with her mum, dad and two older brothers. While she will hopefully be sleeping during the night, she enjoys being soothed with talking or singing if she’s unsettled.

EXPERIENCE WITH NJ/OG FEEDING AND DEEP SUCTIONING WOULD BE HELPFUL, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

The ideal candidate would be a confident, calm and experienced Care Assistant competent with moving and handling. You’ll have experience working with children. NJ/OG feeding and deep suctioning experience would be desired but not required as full training will be provided.
