SUMMARY

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Red Firs Care Home in Newark. In this vital role, you will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing personalized care and support, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of care plans and home care practices.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
