We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our healthcare team for full time/part time/ bank role. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality resident care by creating a positive resident experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS:

For full-time positions you will be required to work alternate weekends as a minimum.
Candidates with previous Nursing Home experience will take priority.
If your experience lies in a different setting a screening might be conducted prior to being selected for an interview.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents with a high standard of social and emotional care and recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents
  • Supporting residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care
  • Being part of a team supporting the nurse or senior care assistant in monitoring our residents and reporting change
  • Communicating with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain effective communications, both verbal and written, making accurate reports on residents and inform other members of the senior care team of day-to-day changes.
  • Create a caring and supportive environment in which residents can reach their full potential both physically and mentally
  • Ensure own and, when appropriate, other’s actions reduce risks to health and safety
  • Undertake any other duties as required from time to time.
