Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team, providing essential support and companionship to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. Duties

• Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
• Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being and independence
• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation tools
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for everyone in your care

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with residents, families, and colleagues
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and responsibly
• Basic IT skills for recording care activities and accessing relevant documentation
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or bank holidays

To work 4 shifts over 7 - we currently have a vacancy for both nights and days. 44 hours per week on a rota basis.

Pay: £12.87 per hour
