EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
• A caring and patient disposition with a genuine desire to help others.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Implementing and following individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Communicating effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Supporting residents with mobility and physical activities as required.
• Documenting changes in residents’ conditions and reporting them to senior staff members.
• Engaging residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
