ABOUT THE ROLE:

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for Care Assistants to work with our female service user in the Bedfordshire area. During the recruitment process, we will provide full competency assessment & sign off for care assistants to assist with Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury Management and Epilepsy. This is a complex care role, which you will be taking part in clinical tasks such as Suctioning and PEG. These things contribute to major personal challenges for our service users’ physical health.
The ideal care assistant to work in this exciting role will be someone who is outgoing, encouraging, patient and empathetic. The service user enjoys going to the cinema and theatre as well as having booked read to her, the perfect care assistant must be willing to encourage her to go out and explore. The service user also has 2 dogs, the ideal care assistant must be comfortable around animals.
We are looking for care assistants, that want a long-term career working with the service user where they can really make a difference to his life. These successful candidate should be able to embody these resilient and empathetic attitudes.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

  • Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.
  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
  • Complex Care experience preferred but not a mandatory need.
  • To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
