Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our Day Team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves supporting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and eating
- Support individuals with mobility issues
- Help in the implementation of care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Use IT systems for documentation and reporting
Skills:
- Previous experience in a care home or home care environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
