Responsibilities Autonomously provides high-quality care to patients in their homes Visit types to include: Hospital at Home, Urgent Care, Primary Care and Palliative Care Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Average of 4-6 patients per day, must be able to flex schedule as needs arise Travel Radius: 25 miles of Iowa Methodist Medical Center Shared call among the providers at a rotation of 1:3 or 1:4 (Triaged through MyNurse) Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with preferred ICU, ED, or Critical Care experience Board Certified Hold a valid Driver’s License Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States We offer Competitive compensation package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. Responsibilities
The Advanced Practitioner will autonomously provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, including various visit types such as Hospital at Home and Palliative Care. They will evaluate and coordinate patient care while managing an average of 4-6 patients per day.
