Job Description We’re on the lookout for an inspirational and experienced Care Centre Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. You’ll play a critical role in establishing a high-performing team of Nurses and Caregivers, and ensure we continue to deliver the exceptional care we’re known for. What you’ll be doing: Reporting to the Village Manager, you’ll be responsible for the care centre’s daily operations and strategic leadership, including: Full accountability for staffing, budgeting, and compliance Leading and coaching your team with a strong focus on recruitment, development, and recognition Building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and stakeholders – and being their trusted point of contact, especially in sensitive situations Supporting sound clinical decision-making and ensuring quality care at all times Managing audits, policy implementation, and working with NASC, Te Whatu Ora and other key external agencies Driving a strong, connected team culture across the village This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, with some occasional on-call responsibilities that include weekends and nights. Please click here to view the full job description. Qualifications You’ll bring experience in a clinical environment with a deep understanding of the aged care sector and Te Whatu Ora standards. You’ll be an experienced manager with solid aged care experience in New Zealand, ready for a new challenge, you’ll be passionate about leading people, driving quality outcomes, and making a real difference. You’re someone who leads with empathy, builds trust, and can bring out the best in others.
