Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Care Coordinator, you will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure that our services are delivered to the highest standards. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with national care standards, and manage effective rostering to maximise resources and maintain excellent staff engagement.
This role is varied, fast-paced, and rewarding, with responsibilities ranging from managing care delivery to liaising with health and social care professionals. You will be a key part of ensuring continuity of care and supporting the growth of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and allocate care workers to customer visits, ensuring continuity of care, matching skills and preferences, and optimising travel routes.
  • Manage new referrals from private clients and social services.
  • Supervise care workers and junior staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, including occasional cover of visits when required.
  • Liaise with professionals such as GPs, social workers, district nurses, and hospitals.
  • Contribute to business development and service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) requirements and best practice standards.
  • Support recruitment efforts to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
