Description

Care in Style provides residential care to adults with learning disabilities and we are in an exciting time of growth and development. We are looking for a dynamic, friendly and motivated Care Co-ordinator to join our team.
This role will be a mix of office based hours, active support/shift leading and a share in on call responsibilities.

The key aspects of this role are to include, but not limited to the following;

  • support working tasks, when necessary, personal care, activities and general support
  • to support staff members to contribute to the best of their ability, ensuring a positive atmosphere in the homes
  • to ensure homes are adhering to policies, procedures and guidelines, and completing audits (health and safety, finances, medication etc.)
  • administering prescribed medication and maintaining necessary records
  • good communication - between managers, residents, family members and professional bodies
  • to assist your line managers with HR tasks, supervisions, staff cover, etc
  • staff induction, training and development
  • contributing to the safeguarding of all residents

If you have the following skills and experience, we would like to hear from you.

  • Previous supervisory care experience
  • QCF level 3 or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player
  • Genuine interest in working with people with learning disabilities.
  • Holds a valid UK driving license and access to vehicle
  • Lives local to Southend on Sea

Salary negotiable based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
