Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bedford, MK43 9J

Responsibilities

You will be a central figure in the team, ensuring our clients receive timely, consistent, and compassionate care. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage weekly staff rotas based on client needs and care worker availability
  • Liaise daily with clients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals
  • Conduct regular care visits and respond to urgent cover needs
  • Complete community assessments and assist with care certificates as required
  • Troubleshoot scheduling or staffing issues in real-time
  • Manage staff absences, re-allocate care visits, and ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in the on-call rota to provide support outside office hours
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, induction, and training of new care professionals
  • Support compliance with CQC standards, including maintaining accurate records
  • Help the branch grow by onboarding new clients and building partnerships

This role is initially around 90% service-based, with an expectation to cover care calls as needed.
