An exciting opportunity has opened up within our team at Guardian Angel Carers Mid Sussex to become our full-time Care Coordinator.
This role will support the exceptionally high standards we have developed within our team, prioritising our care angels and clients alike.
Location: Office is in Burgess Hill (Plus care in the local area as and when required for the needs of our clients)
Salary: £23,900 - £26,400 depending on experience, aptitude and compatibility of the candidate PLUS performance bonus.
37.5 Hours per week, plus on call duties as per office rota. On call duties increase salary by a minimum of £1,200 per year based on our standard rota.
Your role will be to promote and support our growing team of care angels on a daily basis. You will coordinate the services that are offered to our clients in an efficient, compassionate, professional, focused, friendly and outstanding manner.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and manage the all daily communications in the office.
  • Communicate with clients and their family members in an approachable, kind, clear and focused way via telephone, email and messaging.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with our care angels regarding working patterns, schedules, client requests and team requests.
  • Build rapport quickly and appropriately with strong team and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent proficiency and experience with Microsoft office and IT systems
  • Manage, create, edit and issue schedules with an eye for detail and thinking ahead.
  • Complete staff supervision, service reviews, care plans and support all aspects of taking on a new client as required.
  • Show flexible thinking and behaviour particularly when working under pressure and meeting the challenging demands of the business.
  • Work on own initiative and have the ability to reflect and acknowledge when you require support and development.
  • Ensure all documentation is up to date with an attention to detail and ensure this information is clearly transparent within the business.
  • Remain ‘hands on’ as a care colleague, as required with care visits and assessments.
