ABOUT US

Angelica Care Mid Sussex is a family run company who aims to provide professional and high quality care to elderly people in their own homes. Our aim is to create a supportive and happy staff team in order to provide the best level of service to our Customers. We are looking for a Carer/ Co-Ordinator who is eager to grow in their role and make an impact within our team.

REQUIREMENTS:

· At least 6 months of Care Coordinator experience in a domiciliary care or similar environment
· Achieved or willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
· Full UK Driving licence (Must have own car)
· Demonstrate good leadership qualities
You will be given full training on the Care Management and Rostering systems used in the office as well as all mandatory training to provide high quality care. You will be expected to work within the CQC, NICE and Local Authority guidelines.

Responsibilities

· Rostering using Access People Planner (Training will be given)
· Actively managing the rota on a daily basis (office based)
· Working in partnership with Carers and Customers to ensure person centered care schedules are provided
· Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, families and other stakeholders
· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date communication records
· Ensuring staff files remain complaint
· Maintaing quality audits through through Electronic Care Monitoring audits and feeding back to Carers
· Managing and organising staff annual leave and recruitment processes
· On-call duties (additional pay)
· Providing care in community as part of the team (additional pay- competitive rates)
