QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (required).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Aged Care, Nursing, or Management (desirable).
  • Postgraduate training in dementia care, geriatric nursing, or palliative care (desirable).

EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge of the aged care sector, in-home care, CQI, and the Community Care Standards (essential).
  • Previous experience in aged care, community health, or a related field (desirable).

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate in-home care.
  • Proficient in care management systems and digital tools.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to compliance.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor and support staff.
  • Knowledge of aged care legislation, Quality Standards, the Charter of Aged Care Rights, and the Inclusions/Exclusions Framework.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Current Australian Federal Police clearance.
  • Valid driver’s licence and a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
  • Participation in mandatory and ongoing professional development.
