JOB DESCRIPTION:

Flexicare At Home are looking for a compassionate and flexible Care Coordinators, who is a strong team player. (Please note client care management is managed by a Care Manager team).
Care Coordinator Hours: Thurs, Fri, Sat 7am to 2:30pm ; Wed 10am to 2:30pm (25 hours).
(If you prefer full-time hours, extra hours can be available working in the community).
As a Care Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality, person-centred care through effective rostering, staff coordination, and client relationship management and work closely with the care management team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience with rota/scheduling systems (e.g. Access PeoplePlanner) would be an advantage, but not a necessity).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and IT proficiency (Excel, Word).
  • Proven customer service background and attention to detail under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in the care industry and/or NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care is desirable.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own vehicle & Business insurance
  • Caring and empathetic personality
  • Eligibility to work in UK (no sponsorship/visa support available)
Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage and maintain staff rotas, ensuring continuity of care, sufficient travel time, and compliance with commissioned call times.
  • Allocate care workers based on skills, client preferences, and location to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
  • Support the Deputy Registered Manager in service delivery, business development, and day-to-day branch operations.
  • Support HR functions, including Line Management
  • Organise and participate in team meetings, staff supervisions, and appraisals.
  • Take a share of on-call duties on your working days.
