Serenity inmind provides support, to individuals with a range of disabilities and complex needs, in particular those with autistic spectrum disorder ,Learning disabilities and mental health, assisting the individual’s to live as independently as possible as respected members of their local community.
Serenity inmind currently has supported living/residential services in the Leicestershire and Northamptonshire areas .The individuals we support receive 24/7 which includes waking nights and sleep ins, this could be on a 2-1 and 1-1 staffing basis.
We are looking to recruit a Deputy manager who will oversee services alongside the management team.

The role entails:

  • Leadership: Co-ordinate the day-to -day running /activities of the services.
  • Supervisory: To provide leadership ,supervision ,guidance and support to members of staff.
  • Support: Support, develop and enable the individuals we support in real life settings to learn real life skills, accessing where appropriate education, training ,vocation and leisure activities.
  • Responsible: For the development of appropriate, individualised and achievable person centred plans.
  • Finance and administration -Assist in monitoring of monthly expenditure within a service. Support the individual with finance/benefit claims.
  • Liaison and communication: Liaise and maintain links with outside agencies, external professionals and parents/family members including attendance and participation in review and other meetings.
  • Policy/Service development: To understand and adhere to company policies and procedures where applicable to ensure CQC standards. To meet performance objectives as agreed with the service manager.
