Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Chef to join our team at Westcliffe Manor Nursing Home, Westcliffe Road in Southport. Working two days as Chef 9am- 6pm & three days as Kitchen Assistant 8am- 3pm, with every other weekend included, 38hr Contract.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The post holder is expected to possess or be willing to work towards achievement of at least Catering (C&G) or NVQ 3. Qualifications in Food Hygiene and First Aid are desirable.

As Chef you will be required to ensure that nutritious, and beautifully presented meals are provided for our residents, update menues, kitchen checks, ordering of food, lead the kitchen team
As Kitchen Assistant you are responsible food preparation, simple cooking, serving of food, Washing up after meals. Ensuring all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately and that the overall cleaning of the kitchen area (and where appropriate the dining areas) is carried out effectively.
