Are you a kitchen whizz with a big heart and a passion for home-cooked goodness? At Howard Court Care Home Ltd, we’re looking for a superstar Cook to bring delicious, nutritious, and comforting meals to our wonderful residents.
Every meal you make helps make someone’s day — whether it’s a hearty breakfast, a Sunday roast, or a lovely afternoon bake-off.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing tasty, balanced meals with a sprinkle of love and a dash of creativity
- Working with care workers and activities staff to support themed meals and special occasions
- Catering to a variety of dietary needs and personal preferences
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organisation
- Getting to know our residents and taking pride in serving meals that feel like home
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- You love cooking and you care about people
- Experience in a kitchen environment – care home experience is a bonus but not essential
- Knowledge of food hygiene and dietary requirements
- You’re organised, calm under pressure, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude
